ZombieX provides a number of play2earn options, including wagers, staking, and creating for the marketplace or trading NFT assets.

Wagers

ZombieX introduces a system where players can bet on the outcome and performance, or ability to survive, of other players within the game. This adds a fun competitive element, and introduces gaming to crypto degens.

Performance Staking

When a new season commences, players can stake an amount of $ZOMBIX tokens, that allows them to earn rewards based on performance metrics and leaderboards. Metrics include the number of zombies killed, deaths, headshots and survival time. Performing poorly may result in an unstake penalty of 5%, or longer lock periods, which makes staking enticing but also adds up to the sustainability of the ecosystem.

Marketplace Trading

Built-it items, such as weapons, skins, cars, backpacks, hoverboards and much more, can be obtained by performing well in the leaderboards, or found around the maps in rare cases. Items have rarity levels. All these items can be trades freely in the marketplace enabling players to convert in-game items to cryptocurrencies. Similarly, NFT asset creators can profit from their own creations.
